About Us:

Pete racing in a Sprint Triathlon Hello, my name is Pete. I'm married to Kathy and have one daughter, Juliette who is currently in Primary school.

For my day job, I'm a geologist working for a geological consulting company based in rural Lincolnshire. It is an interesting job that takes me all over the world (mainly airports, hotels and offices). Very rarely do I actually get to see any rocks!

To keep active, I take part in Triathlons, doing several races every year ranging from the Sprint events to the Olympic distance events. In 2007 I completed the Vitruvian Middle Distance (Half Iron Man) event. Kathy also takes part in Sprint Triathlon events, completing her very first event after turning 49.9999.

You can check out photos of some recent triathlons and also my race times in the Triathlons section.

When I get the time, my hobbies include building things such as a 1/12 scale dolls house for Juliette and a 1/6 scale R/C model of the famous Reiher glider. This construction project has been on going for the past 6 years. I'm also into restoring old steam toys such as stationary engines and boats.

I have successfully completed a two year part time Open University course in Web Application Development.
