Seahawk gallery, December 2007:

It has taken almost a year (on and off) but the Seahawk is almost finished. The last main job was to apply a couple of coats of clear Japlac varnish to the inside and outside of the hull (to preserve the original paint work and to make the hull water tight ... I intend to sail the boat again). The rear decking was also covered in varnish to preserve the Bowman logo.

Some jobs still remain ... like building a wire cradle to hold the burner in position within the hull, testing of the engine on dry land and then in the relative safty of the bath. Then, all being well, she will take to the high seas again.
